Pada vlog kali ini, saya nak share kepada anda semua mengenai tempat-tempat menarik di Forest City Johor. Forest City Johor ini bolehlah dikatakan sebagai salah satu property development yang berkontroversi. Saya telahpun berpindah ke Forest City ini semenjak Oktober 2022. Forest City ini agak jauh dari Bandar Johor Bahru, dalam lingkungan 30 &#8211; 45 minit dari Bandaraya Johor Bahru. Forest City ini merupakan sebuah pulau buatan (berkeluasan lebih kurang 1,370 hektar) dan berdekatan dengan Gelang Patah, Johor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Forest City ini telah dilancarkan pada tahun 2006\u00a0 dimana ianya dijalankan dibawah program\u00a0China&#8217;s Belt and Road Initiative (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Forest_City,_Johor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wikipedia<\/a>). Berdasarkan pendapat orang ramai di sosial media, mereka mengatakan bahawa kawasan atau kedai-kedai di Forest City banyak yang tutup sejak berlakunya pandemik (MCO 2020) Covid-19. Namun, pada waktu sekarang, orang ramai telah mula kembali ke Forest City untuk bercuti dan berkelah.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Tempat-Tempat Menarik di Forest City Johor, Malaysia<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Antara kawasan yang menjadi tumpuan pelancong \/ visitor dari luar ke Forest City adalah di kawasan Fishermen&#8217;s Wharf dimana terdapatnya pelbagai kedai Duty Free (ada dalam 5-10 kedai duty free) dan restoran. Pada waktu ini, terdapat satu sahaja fast-food restaurant iaitu Marrybrown. Ada juga yang mengatakan bahawa terdapat tempat yang lebih menarik di Forest City Golf Resort, namun saya masih belum mempunyai kesempatan untuk ke tempat tersebut. Mungkin akan saya cover pada vlog seterusnya. Forest City juga menyediakan perkhidmatan kereta buggy secara percuma untuk anda meneroka ke seluruh Forest City.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pantai Forest City juga terletak di kawasan Fisherman&#8217;s Wharf ini. Pasir pantainya tidaklah lembut seperti pantai-pantai yang ada di timur Malaysia. Anda juga tidak dibenarkan berenang di kawasan pantai ini. Mengikut kata orang-orang kampung di sini, mereka telah terserempak dengan beberapa ekor buaya di kawasan ini. Tambahan pula, memang asalnya kawasan ini adalah kawasan paya bakau yang telah diubahsuai menjadi pantai buatan.<\/p>\n<p>Bagi yang membawa anak-anak kecil yang ingin berenang, terdapat dua swimming pool besar di Forest City Water Park. Forest City Water Park ini berada berhadapan Forest City Sales Gallery dan dibuka kepada public.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Forest City Johor Pada Waktu Malam<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tidak banyak aktiviti yang boleh dijalankan pada waktu malam di sini kerana kebanyakan kedai telah pun tutup pada pukul 10pm &#8211; 11pm. Lampu-lampu jalan juga banyak yang tutup dan gelap di seluruh Forest City. Antara kedai yang beroperasi 24jam pada ketika ini adalah KK Mart. Kebanyakan penyewa di Forest City ini adalah sama ada yang bekerja di Singapore (dekat dengan jambatan Tuas) dan yang bekerja di Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas (PTP Port).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Berdasarkan pengalaman saya selama beberapa bulan ini, saya boleh katakan yang Forest City ini agak sesuai untuk orang yang inginkan ketenangan dan jauh dari kesibukan kota. Tambahan pula, kadar sewa di Forest City adalah murah (dalam lingkungan RM750 &#8211; RM1000 sebulan). Secara jujurnya, Forest City ini adalah kawasan yang cantik dan berharap banyak lagi kedai dan aktiviti yang boleh dijalankan di tempat ini.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Penginapan di Forest City, Johor<\/h2>\n<p>Pada sesiapa yang datang dari luar Johor dan ingin mencari penginapan di Forest City, terdapat pelbagai hotel menarik di sekitar Forest City antaranya, Marina Hotel dan Forest City Golf Hotel. Terdapat juga homestay bagi yang datang dengan ahli keluarga yang ramai. Forest City Johor is quite far from Johor Bahru city (around 30 minutes - 40 minutes by car). This island, is actually an artificial island. Forest City is an integrated residential development and private town located on the slopes of Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru District, Johor, Malaysia on 1,370 hectares. Announced in 2006 as a twenty-year project, the project was pitched under China's Belt and Road Initiative (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Forest_City,_Johor\">Wikipedia<\/a>).<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on comments on Tiktok account, they said that this place\/shops was badly affected during MCO on 2020 (due to Covid19). But now, people are starting to visit Forest City again (quite busy on weekend).<\/p><h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Interesting Places in Forest City, Johor Malaysia<\/h2><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The most interesting places and most visited places in Forest City Johor is the Duty Free shop at Fishermen's Wharf (this is the area where you can find Mamak restaurant and Marrybrown and another 3-5 restaurants). From what I see, there are only about 5 to 10 Duty Free shops open. Some people say that there's a lot interesting places at Forest City Golf Resort for family, but I dont have any chance to go there yet (they said, the price is cheap too for golfer. Maybe, I'll cover this on next vlog). Forest City Johor also provide free buggy service for you to ride around the city area.<\/p><p>Forest City beach is around Fisherman's Wharf too. The beach is okay, but we cannot swim there. From what I know from the locals here, there are crocodiles found here sometimes. So, we need to be careful. For those who bring kids, you can use public Swimming Pool area near the beach. There are two swimming pools, for child (Forest City Water Park) and adult swimming pool (RM20 per entry). The swimming pool is in front of Forest City Sales Gallery building and open for public.<\/p><h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Forest City, Johor at Night<\/h2><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Not much thing to do here at night as most shops are closed at 10pm -11pm and the street lights to Forest City are usually off, and this is quite dangerous. Currently, the only shop that operate 24 hours is the KK Mart shop. Most of Forest City residents are either working at Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas (PTP Port) or Singapore (near to Tuas Bridge).<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on my 3 months experience living here, I can say that this place is safe, peaceful and quiet (no ghosts or whatsoever haha). More people are slowly moving here due to their cheap house rental (you can get around RM800- Rm1000 per month). To be honest, this place is beautiful and I hope that there will be more shops open here (or some big event).<\/p><h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Accomodation at Forest City, Johor<\/h2><p>For those who comes from outside Johor, there are several good hotels around Forest City such as Marina Hotel and Forest City Golf Hotel. There are also homestay here for who comes with family members.
